Magic Shell Ice Cream Topping

  • 3 giant-size (6.8 ounce) chocolate bars (I use 2 Dark and 1 Milk Chocolate)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil


  • Melt chocolate and coconut oil in a double boiler set over medium-low heat. Stir occasionally until combined completely. Drizzle over ice cream, and allow to harden. (It only takes a minute.)  


Store at room temperature in an air-tight container. It will set up. To serve, warm jar in microwave at 20% power for 1 minute, or place jar in a small pot of water over low heat for about 5 minutes. Stir before eating.
Makes 2 cups sauce
