Oreo Crust

This delicious crust makes just about any pie better.  Use your imagination, and fill it with something wonderful!

Start with 32 Oreo cookies. Crush them to make 3 cups of crumbs.

Melt 6 tablespoons of butter.

Swirl the melted butter around the pie plate to coat the sides all the way around.

Mix the crumbs and butter with a fork.

Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides.

Ingredients
  1. 32 Oreo cookies (3 cups crumbs) or Golden Oreo cookies
  2. 6 tablespoons butter
Instructions
  1. Crush the cookies.
  2. Melt the butter in a pie plate.
  3. Mix the crumbs with the melted butter, and press into the bottom and sides of the pan.
  4. Chill to set.
Notes
  1. This is also wonderful when made with Golden Oreos.
