Welcome to the White Apron Blog!  That’s not just the name of my blog, but it’s usually a description of my wardrobe.  My name is Lisia Childs. I love my family.  I love to cook.  I love to eat.  I love photography.  I love scrapbooking.  Happily, this blog is the perfect way for me to combine several of my favorite things, and enjoy them simultaneously.

I’m a wife and the mother of four children.  My children are grown, married, and living in different states.  The idea for this blog started as a way to share favorite family recipes with my children and their families, wherever they may be.

Traditions are very important to me, and my children joke that our traditions all revolve around food.   This blog makes it possible for my family and friends to continue to enjoy this legacy.  Cooking and sharing food is a way for me to demonstrate love for others, and I’m happy, now, to be sharing that love with you.  Maybe some of these recipes will become part of your family’s traditions.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you stay a while, visit often, and make a white apron part of your life.
