You can add anything that you want, and depending upon which fruits are in season, some smoothies will be better than others. Since this isn’t pear season, I’ve been using canned, but I can’t wait to try some fresh ones.

- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 banana fresh or frozen
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 4 pear halves canned in light syrup
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- ½ cup pear juice from can
- Put all ingredients in blender in order listed. Puree until smooth.
